The indoor support insulator made of epoxy resin serves for the mechanical support of busbars, conductors, and other live parts, as well as for their electrical insulation. The high-quality epoxy resin ensures a robust and durable construction with excellent electrical insulation properties.

Our indoor support insulators are designed for use in a temperature range of -40°C to +90°C. Different temperature ranges are available upon request.

The threaded bushings on the top and bottom are permanently cast into the resin.

For fastening in steel structures, suitable screws (e.g., strength class 8.8 or higher) and a sufficient thread engagement depth must be used. Our insulators are tested according to IEC 60660.

Post insulators for indoor application

Low- and medium-voltage insulators are designed to provide mechanical support for electrical conductors while also providing electrical insulation. They are manufactured from high-quality cast epoxy resin or glass-fiber-reinforced polyester resin and are suitable for a wide range of electrical applications, such as switchgear, transformers, compact substations, load break switches, and substations. Our support insulators are available in a cylindrical design and are rated for voltages up to 38.5 kV. Permanently molded threaded bushings are integrated into the end faces.
