Aluminum busbar

Aluminium busbars are a lighter and more cost-efficient alternative to copper. They offer good electrical conductivity and are therefore suitable for applications that do not require the extremely high conductivity values of copper. Aluminium is also easier to handle and install due to its lower weight. These bars are often used in distribution systems and less critical applications where cost efficiency plays a greater role than the absolute minimisation of energy losses.
